April is "National Child Abuse Prevention Month"

This year's "National Child Abuse Prevention Month" theme is "Inspire Change." To bring attention to the issue of child abuse, help promote prevention and inspire change, the CAC will host a month of informational, educational and fundraising activities. Make a note of the following events and plan to support as many as possible!

April 1-30

• Purchase an "Inspire Change" t-shirt, available at some CAC events and all month at Czar Printing, 420 S. Campbell. Thanks to Czar Printing, a portion of all proceeds will benefit the CAC.
  • Cost - $12/shirt or $10 for 2 or more shirts.
• Visit a "Kites & Kids" display of kites decorated by 4th and 5th grade students at Rountree Elemenatary School at:
  • Zen 3 Spa
  • Josh Mitchell Art Station
  • Imo's Pizza (Pickwick & Cherry)
  • Tea Bar & Bites
  • More sites coming!

April 2

• First Friday Artwalk at the CAC -- Open House and Kite Display
  "Inspire Change" t-shirts for sale.

April 6

• CAC Night at Panera Bread
  500 S. National Ave., 5-8 p.m.
  A portion of all proceeds benefit the CAC.

April 17

• CAC Garage Sale (rain or shine)
  1033 E. Walnut St.

April 29

• CAC Panera Day
  500 S. National, all day
