CAC Annual Campaign 2009

How to get a kiteThe Child Advocacy Center continues to serve an ever-growing number of children from throughout its 18-county service area. Never-the-less, no family ever pays for the services we provide - Forensic Interviews and Sexual Assualt Forensic Exams. Consequently, in the summer of 2008 we added an Annual Campaign to our fundraising efforts.

What is an Annual Campaign?

Annual campaigns traditionally raise critical, unrestricted funds for an organization’s on-going program needs. Because 10 years of statistics indicate we will continue to serve a consistently high number of children, funds raised through our annual campaign ensure we have the resources to meet their needs.

Jump-starting our efforts

Guests at our recent Award Dinner were again challenged to kick-off of our Annual Campaign by making a lead gift now to the Annual Campaign. Donors who stepped up and gave to our 2009 campaign efforts include:

  • Elese Anthony
  • Ronald & Patricia Benson
  • Ann Elwell
  • John & Jeris Ferguson
  • Conrad & Bonnie Griggs
  • Gordon & Laura Kinne
  • Maggie McDowell
  • Joan Menchetti (first donor of the campaign)
  • John & Susan Mihalevich
  • Phil & Kim Overstreet
  • Dan & Jill Patterson
  • Mark & Cynthia Rushefsky
  • Winter Skelton
  • Michael & Terrie Suarez
  • Chad & Andrea Turner

How to get a kite

Like last year, for a donation of $100 or more, the CAC will provide the donor with a beautiful, 12-inch, mini, nylon kite, thanks to support from Great Southern Bank and Gomberg Kites of Oregon. (Multiple kites are available at higher levels of giving.) Call the CAC for more information - 831-2327 - or make a donation online NOW!
